Introduction and overview
- Access to Refinitiv Eikon, Workspace, Datastream and SDC Platinum changed in October 2023.
- There is no more booking system with a set of shared Eikon IDs. Instead, register for your own individual LSEG MyAccount ID, previously called MyRefinitiv ID.
- The MyAccount ID stays with you at Manchester and retains your personal settings and lists. You may have to apply for Workspace permissions more than once throughout your studies; students' access to Workspace can be revoked several times throughout the year.

- Use a MyAccount ID to access the LSEG Refinitiv Workspace platform.
- Workspace includes the Datastream and SDC Platinum databases.
- Workspace includes the 'Aftermarket Research' (AMR) collection of research reports.
- Workspace includes the CodeBook or Eikon Data API for Python access.
- These instructions apply to web, desktop and Excel versions of Workspace.
