Accessing Aftermarket Research (AMR) via LSEG Refinitiv Workspace
Aftermarket Research (or AMR) is a collection of industry, market and analyst research reports, with "over 30 million research reports from over 1,900 sources, dating back to 1982" according to LSEG. Contributors include Barclays, BofA Global Research, Credit Suisse, GlobalData, HSBC, Jefferies, JP Morgan, MarketLine, Morgan Stanley and UBS. Many of the reports in Aftermarket Research are not available from anywhere else at The University of Manchester.
To access Aftermarket Research, use the 'Research Advanced Search' (ADVRES) app within LSEG Refinitiv Workspace. You can use the Web version or Desktop version of Workspace, though downloading batches of reports is easier in the Desktop version.
Steps for accessing Aftermarket Research via Workspace Web:
- Register for a MyRefintiv ID.
- Go to Workspace web access sign-in page.
- Enter the MyRefinitiv user ID and password.
- In the search box, type and select 'Research Advanced Search' or 'ADVRES'.
- You can now search for reports from all contributors.
Each report has a price associated with it. We do not pay the price you see; instead, the university has monthly and yearly quota. Each user also has a monthly download limit. The limit resets on the first day of the calendar month. It is not possible to know in advance when you will are near the download limit. We advise that you only select the chargeable pages which you think you need, please do not download entire $1000 reports without consideration.
