Getting help in SDC Platinum


SDC Platinum is available as an add-on to LSEG Refinitiv Workspace, in its web version, desktop version and Excel version.

Finally, there is technical and software support available from LSEG through their MyRefinitiv portal or 0370 191 0591. The Library can try to answer your enquiry or pass it on through here if necessary. Refinitiv will not speak to students directly; they only respond to the Workspace Professor IDs and the Library.

 

How can I access the SDC Platinum data definitions?

In the old 'legacy' standalone SDC Platinum, there were 41 HLP files which contained 10,632 data definitions for various databases within heritage SDC Platinum. We have extracted these and copied them into one Microsoft Excel document, see attached. Some of these definitions may be out-of-date, it is likely that they have not been updated for several years. However, they may still be useful for you. (When we get the latest documentation, we will share them here.)
