Where can I find a list of company directors?
In Fame, type the company name in the search box, select the best match if more than one appears, and once the company report is displayed click on ‘Directors, Managers, Contacts & Advisors’ on the side menu. This function includes current and past appointments.
Refinitiv has information on current officers and directors, including committee memberships, as well as historical information back to the mid-1990s.
- To find individuals in a specific company, search for that company. Use the horizontal menu 'ESG' then 'Officers' then 'Overview'. (This takes you to the Officers (OFF) app.)
- To screen for officers or directors in any company, search for the 'Screener' app then change the 'Universe' to 'Officers & Directors'. This will also allow you to view connections between two people.
- Board of director information can be found within a company's 10-K filing. Search for 10-K reports in the Eikon or in the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) database, EDGAR.
BoardEx via WRDS covers board directors and senior managers worldwide, including up to 5 years remuneration data.
Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) via WRDS has Directors module which covers S&P 1500 companies. It has a range of variables related to individual board directors (such as name, age, tenure, gender, committee memberships, primary employer and title).
