Where can I get detailed info on convertible bonds?


In Refinitiv, you can use the 'Screener' app, similar to how to search for mergers and acquisitions. See our guide Researching mergers and acquisitions which introduces the Screener app and make some changes:

  1. Set the 'Universe' to 'Deals' and the 'Asset Class' to 'Equity & Bonds'.
  2. Click in the 'Add Filter' box, type 'Issue Type', select 'Convertible' and click 'Done'.
  3. Click in the 'Add Filter' box, type 'Transaction Status', select 'Mandated' and click 'Done'.
  4. Continue your search. You can also limit the search by ‘Industry’ and ‘Region’.

 

In Datastream, when choosing the ‘Data Category’, select ‘Bonds and Convertibles’. Select the Instrument Type ‘Convertible’.

In Bloomberg, type ‘CSCH’ then press Enter to search for desired convertibles.
