How do I find info on joint ventures?
Refinitiv can be used to find joint ventures like any other mergers and acquisitions deal. See our post Researching mergers and acquisitions but make the following change:
- Click on the ‘Add Filter’ box and search for ‘Joint Venture Flag’. Select true or false and click 'Done'.
In Factiva, select ‘Subject search’ and look for ‘Joint Venture/Consortia’.
In SDC Platinum, select ‘Mergers and Acquisitions > Joint Ventures’.
In Capital IQ, when viewing a company profile, under the ‘Business Relationships’ section, select ‘Strategic Alliances’.
