How can I find historical Dow Jones Averages?
Datastream has information back to 1950. When choosing the ‘Data Category’, select ‘Equity Indices’. Use the series code ‘DJINDUS’.
Use Dow Jones via WRDS.
In Bloomberg, type ‘DJI’ and press the ‘F10 INDEX’ key then press Enter.
