How do I get data for multiple companies using Datastream?
To get data from multiple companies use the Datastream Excel add-in with LSEG Refinitiv Workspace. This add-in enables you to use existing constituents lists such as FTSE 100 or S&P 500 to retrieve data for companies.
Users can also create their own lists, using the Datastream ‘Create List’ feature, which allows importing a list of companies (identified by Datastream code, ISIN, SEDOL, or CUSIP) in Excel. Once the list is created and uploaded, users can use the list/lists to retrieve data.
