Open data: the Open Research Skills Framework
Answer
What is open research data?
Research data forms a valuable output from the research process, with potential for reuse by the wider research community. Making research data open, where possible, is a key component of open research practice and research data management, and enables research to be replicated, validated and/or further built upon by other researchers.
Not all data can be made open, but you should aim to make it as FAIR as possible.
Research practices which enable open data
There are a number of Open Research practices which you can apply to ensure your data is accessible and reusable. Find out more about considerations on sharing or restricting research data.
