Getting help in Fame and Orbis


Moody's (formerly Bureau van Dijk) Fame and Orbis each have a large set of walkthroughs, video tutorials and further documentation including a data definitions guide.

To access the help menu, follow these steps:

  1. Log into Fame or Orbis with your university username and password.
  2. Click on the help icon at the top-right (a question mark in a circle).
  3. Select 'Interactive Walk-throughs', 'Recorded Videos' or 'Online Guides' or 'Workflow Scenarios'.

If you select 'Online Guides', a new tab will open with the full documentation (in English, French or German). In here, you can learn about the search, results, tools and export features. Scroll down the left menu and click 'Data Guide' to browse or search the full data definitions.
