How do I find "premium listed" firms on the London Stock Exchange?
The London Stock Exchange's Main Market contains a "premium" segment for companies. This segment has higher requirements of regulation and governance but the potential for some specific lower costs. (Read more about the LSE Group main market segments or compare the markets.)
Unfortunately, none of our business database subscriptions provide a way to identify which companies (or equities) have this premium status. Instead, you must use the London Stock Exchange 'Price explorer' from its investment tools.
In the Price explorer:
- Select the 'Market' as 'PSM'
- and the 'Instrument type' as 'Equity'
- then click 'Apply filters'.
- Copy and paste the results table to Excel, one page at a time.
