How do I get help using or installing SPSS?

We can offer the following limited support for SPSS.

Installing SPSS:

The software page on our Data & Statistics subject guide includes links to help installing SPSS. You may be asked to log in after clicking on of these links, then get taken to the Support Centre homepage. If so, go back and click on the link again to make sure you get to the correct page.
You will need to be using the University's Virtual Private Network (VPN) service to download SPSS.
The Digital Support Services team can help with student IT support.
University staff can contact IT Services for further help.

Using SPSS:

The software page on our Data & Statistics subject guide includes links to help using SPSS. This includes our online resources and some other recommendations.
The Library does not currently offer one-to-one support for using SPSS. You may need to refer back to any lecture notes or ask for help from peers. Some schools offer dedicated statistics drop-in sessions.
Some NHS learners may also be supported by Manchester Foundation Trust. You could ask them by sending an email to statistics@mft.nhs.uk
