I have an error message in SDC Platinum: 'Service Prompt Not Found!'
When you launch SDC Platinum and click the ‘Login’ button, you are prompted to enter user initials. When we first subscribed to SDC, we set up a user account called ‘Eddie Davies Library’, with the user initials ‘EDL’. You must type these initials when logging in.
Sometimes the connection attempt may time out and show a message 'Service Prompt Not Found!':

Follow the steps below to change which server SDC Platinum connects to.
Launch SDC Tools

The user accounts are managed in a separate application called SDC Tools.
- Accept the user initials error message.
- Close SDC Platinum.
- Click on the Start menu and search for ‘SDC Tools’. Double-click it.
Change the server address

The wrong server address may be in use. Change it to another one:
- On the icon menu, click the ‘Options’ icon.
- The ‘Default User Options’ window appears. Find the field labelled ‘IP Address’ and replace 'ocpl.thomsonib.com' with 'platinum.thomsonib.com'.
- Click the ‘OK’ button, then close SDC Tools.
Launch SDC Platinum again

Run SDC Platinum again, enter the user initials, and continue as usual, with a project description.
