What does the Business Data Service do?
The Business Data team (BDS) is part of the Specialist Library Support service (SLS) within the Teaching, Learning and Students (TLS) team of the Library.
The service helps students and researchers to select and use specialist financial and business databases.
- We develop self-help support via Subject Guides and online resources.
- We can receive or be referred enquiries via this platform (Library Help).
- We deliver training and workshops via open and embedded programmes.
The Business Data team works with IT Services to support the software used to access specialist databases.
- The Eddie Davies Finance Zone has two labs of PCs with specialist database software.
- Academics can have software installed to their PCs or laptops.
