Access to the Accessible Equipment Rooms is available to students who are registered with the University’s Disability Advisory Support Service (DASS) and have been recommended it in their support plan.
The Library facilitates access to the Accessible Equipment Rooms. If you have been granted access, you can swipe your Student Card on the Card Reader next to the door and it will unlock the room for you. If access to these rooms is not working, please speak to a member of Library Staff who will be able to assist you.
The Library has two Accessible Equipment Rooms, one can be found on the Ground Floor of the Main Library, the other can be found on the Lower Ground Floor of the Alan Gilbert Learning Commons, which can be accessed via the lifts.
