In order to open PDF files from the Torrossa digital library, Adobe Reader must be installed on the computer or device that you are using.
If you are using a University device, Adobe Reader should already be installed on your device.
If you are using a personal device, Adobe Reader may be downloaded free of charge from the Adobe website.
What do I need to do next?
If you open the PDF document you have downloaded within your web browser, you will see an information page that looks like this:
To open the e-book PDF, please follow these steps:
1) Save a local copy of this file using the ‘save as’ option or the command ‘Ctrl+S’ for Windows or ‘cmd+S’ for Mac.
2) Open Adobe Reader.
3) From Adobe Reader, select the ‘file’ menu, click on ‘open’ and select the file you have saved.
4) Open the saved copy.
