If you are a member of staff at The University of Manchester, you are entitled to use most other libraries within the United Kingdom. This can be done by applying to the SCONUL (Society of College, National and University Libraries) Access Scheme, which will allow you to access other institutions which participate in the Scheme.

Please Note:

Access during the vacation period is permitted by most other university libraries (check the individual institution for access arrangements).

Access during term time can vary with each university. Please ensure that you check with the individual university library before making your visit.
