LibAnswers: Customer Services

Once you have found the item you are looking for on the shelf,  the way that you issue it changes depending on which site you are at:

Main Library, Eddie Davies Library, SEED Student Support Hub and Library and Stopford Library all have self issue machines.

You will need your Library card.

Instructions for using the self-issue machines are displayed on the touch screens but please ask a member of Library staff for help if you need it.

Art History and Architecture Library does not have self issue machines.

Please see a member of staff at the Customer Services desk and they will issue the item for you.

You will be unable to issue library items if:

• Your Library account is blocked due to overdue loans and recalls
• Your Library card has expired
• You have reached your loan quota
