Can I print from my laptop/own device?
Yes! You can use your laptop, smartphone or tablet to print to the University MFDs (printers).
Uploading your Documents:
- Go to the following page: PaperCut Login for The University of Manchester
- Log in using your University Username and password
- Select 'Web Print' and then 'Submit a Job' to upload your documents to the queue:
- Select which Printer you would like to send your Document to:
- The options are PC_ColourMobilePrint or PC_MonoMobilePrint.
- If you would like to print in Colour, select PC_ColourMobilePrint.
- If you would like to print in Greyscale, select PC_MonoMobilePrint.
- Please note that you will be able to print your Document from any printer across campus.
- You will then be able to add how many copies of your document you need.
- Step 3 allows you to Upload the document you wish to print from your device. You can do this by dragging the file into the white box or by clicking the green button labelled 'Upload from Computer' which will open a po-up box of your File Explorer which you can browse your files.
- Once you have uploaded a file, press 'Upload and Complete' in the bottom-right corner. You will then be redirected to the first page where you can view all of your active jobs. These will remain here until you have printed them out.
