Open Research Governance and Strategy

Answer

Open Research: a strategic priority

Open Research is a strategic priority for The University of Manchester, with the cultivation of ‘an open and responsible research environment’ identified as a key goal of the Our Future research and discovery theme. Open Research principles and practices will be integral to accelerating the University’s research impact, an identified priority area for development of the new Manchester 2035 strategy.

The Office for Open Research is the University of Manchester Library’s informed response to the University’s focus on Open Research, developed as a lead priority area of the Library’s Imagine 2030 strategic programme.
