Answer
Research Lifecycle Programme
The Research Lifecycle Programme (RLP) is The University of Manchester’s primary strategic investment in its research environment.
The RLP is focused on enabling smoother research associated processes and systems for Professional Services and academic staff.
The Programme will invest at least £5m per year to help the University to deliver on its strategic vision. The Programme is organised into six themes:
-
Research experience.
-
Open, reproducible, and responsible research.
-
Research computing and data platforms.
-
Skills and workforce development.
-
Research funding lifecycle.
-
Collaboration and partnerships.
You can find out more about each theme via the dedicated RLP website.
A key initiative of the ‘Open, reproducible, and responsible research’ RLP theme is the Research Data Stewardship project, a collaboration between the RLP and the Office for Open Research. You can find out more about Research Data Stewardship via this article.
